WHO WE ARE
Meet The Powers
Water & Wood Properties was founded by Tina Powers, alongside her husband Paul Powers, out of a deep and lasting love for Fairhope and the Eastern Shore. Tina’s connection to the area began in the late 1990s while attending art classes at the Eastern Shore Art Center. After countless drives across the bay and time spent immersed in Fairhope’s thriving creative community, it became clear this was the place to build a life and raise a family. More than 25 years and three children later, Fairhope remains home. The couple fell in love with the town’s coastal charm, welcoming spirit, and slower pace… shaped by bay breezes, walkable streets, and a strong sense of community. That lifelong connection to place is the foundation of everything Water & Wood Properties represents.
Water & Wood Properties is built on the belief that great hospitality starts with intention. Tina and Paul have carefully assembled a portfolio of hand-selected bay and river homes that reflect both the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore and the way people truly want to live while they’re here. Each property is thoughtfully designed with a balance of comfort, craftsmanship, and practical luxury… blending natural materials, seamless indoor-outdoor living, and elevated amenities that make every stay feel effortless. Hosting is never an afterthought; it’s the priority. Having raised their family on the Eastern Shore, the Powers bring deep local knowledge to every guest experience, from favorite restaurants and boat launches to hidden gems and can’t-miss activities. Since 2021, Water & Wood Properties has proudly delivered consistently five-star stays, welcoming guests not just to a place to stay, but to experience Fairhope as locals do.

Posted on Heather We had a wonderful week the house was beautiful and very clean. Loved the location and how peaceful it was. Easy to get to beaches about 30 minutes away, wouldn’t change anythingPosted on Takietha The home was very beautiful! It was clean and comfortable for my large family of 12! Tina was respnsive. She was extremely nice and very accommodating! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love the opportunity to visit again!Posted on Edwin Rest and Reel was a perfect setting for our family getaway. We enjoyed the accommodations and the area very much.Posted on Lindsey We are locals that wanted to have a "staycation" in the area. Our son turned 9 and his very favorite pastime is fishing, so we picked Christina's house based on the outdoor amenities, and boy did it not disappoint! The house was immaculate, the perfect amount of space for our family, and so very comfortable. We barely ever left, but for those that don't live in Fairhope or the surrounding areas it is only a 15-minute drive to the downtown area with great shopping and dining. Of course we went to Big Daddy's and enjoyed some yummy seafood but other than that outing, we cooked at the house (very well-stocked kitchen!), and enjoyed the river. Christina was so very kind and communication was very easy. We will definitely recommend to friends and family that need a Fairhope/river get-away!Posted on Tucker Loved our stay! very relaxing environment.
